How to wear: Ice Cream Pastels!

Pastels can seem a little girly, but don't just think pink! This spring is bursting with a rainbow of ice cream pastel colours!

Go for one statment pastel piece or mix different pastels for a more daring colourful look.

Here's some outfit ideas for inspiration (All high street of course!):

 And here's the details:
As mentioned on AoT before, try not to go for one pastel with all black, so 90's! Stick to pastels and light colours (grey/white/denim) for a modern pastel look.

Give it a try, a palette of ice cream sundae shades awaits!

Trend: Metallic Edge

Fashion introduces a metallic edge.

Space age silvers, shiny pretty pinks and shimmering golds, here to bring your outfit to life! Give your outfit a futuristic twist with the metallic trend.
The best thing is you can add metallics to an exsisting outfit - a whole new look is not required!

Metallics are great for a going out look, but a metallic top with trousers or a maxi skirt is great for an on trend day look.

So why not try a metallic edge? Not too much though - you don't want to go full out space woman!

Trend piece: The Amazing Blazer

Blazers just got cool!

Ditch that worn out black cardi that you sling over everything and move onto a sheek on-trend blazer.  Effortlessly cool, blazers are a great way to layer up an exsisting outfit and make it current.

The great thing is, as blazers are in, they're in florals, bright colours and pastels! No more black office blazer! Add to Jeans and a T for a bit of fashionista at the weekend, or add to a dress for a smart but cool vibe.

Left and centre, Brights at H&M
Right, Tuxedo style at Dorothy Perkins
Go for a smart Tuxedo style jacket with prominant lapels for an outfit that will really wow.

Roll the sleeves for a more day-causal look (under the elbow though - anything more would bit ambitious!)

Always try on a few different styles, different cuts will flatter different shapes, which can really make a difference!

Trend: Fantastic Florals

Floral prints are a massive trend this Spring.  Printed trousers, shirts, blazers, dresses...you name it you can get it in floral.  Florals were quite big last year so if you have any - get them back out!

This time around mixing different floral prints is huge.  Think floral top and different floral printed trousers, or floral blazer with different floral dress.  Daring mixes like this are usually something only seen on the catwalk, but it's on the high street and looks great!
